| | | 07/09/2008 Rock Tha Bells - door (krizz) | | It started out long ago when 2 dj's named Krizz and Roy joined forces and deceided to launch a brandnew partyconcept. In search of suited venue they found Living Room, now known as Club Royal, to be the ideal spot to realize their party. In February 2001 the first party was hosted and oh what a succes it was...The people and the clubowner asked for more of this and every third friday was programmed. What supposed to be an one off party became a monthly concept. Every month visitors numbers increased and the third fridays became legendary. Perhaps one of the keys to the succes was the fact they worked with different themes. It created a buzz in the area and many clubowners of different clubs tried the wheel in this concept. Eventhough some handsome offers where made the guys stayed true to the venue. When the owner of Living Room sold the club in 2003 Krizz & Roy deceided to move across the street to 'Bell's café'. The conditions we're right and the place is bigger so more people could join in. The concept was now called R'N'B EXCLUSIVE It turned out to be a good move because from the start, eventhough the venue was alo bigger, people had to line up to get in. By being creative and working with the website www.sinnekloas.be those third fridays became even more legendary. People begged for more so nights befor a public holiday also became r'n'b exclusive nights. By the end of 2005 Bell's café stopped the nighlife segment of their business so the guys where again looking for a new venue to continue this successtory. Sadly, no other venue in the area was either big enough or offered the right conditons so Kirzz & Roy went their way as regular deejays in the club circuit residenting in some of the biggest clubs in Flanders. The search of a new venue was pushed to the back... Meanwhile many other promoters tried to copy the succes formula in the area but nobody succed to this day. Now after al this time Krizz came across an ideal venue to re-install those legendary night so he got to work... First step: get Roy back on board. After some hesitation, because he just deceided to slow his deejay career down, Roy agreed to help bring a legend back. The guys are sure a lot of people miss those night too and we like to see all the familiar faces from before. Offcourse times have changed so Krizz thought it would be a good idea to include some fresh faces. He contacted Mista' K, member of one of the most popular dj teams Fizz Clique,and also one of the biggest promoters of urban parties in Flanders, to resident alongside young talent and go getta dj Makasi. The new concept is called ROCK THA BELLS and will be hosted every 3 friday at OSCARS, a brandnew venue located in the Siniscoop building right next to the traintation of St-Niklaas.
